Optimized Incident Reporting for Precise Issue Resolution

Based on our analysis of tens of thousands of shipments, we have identified the most common causes of incidents in cross-border operations. To improve the accuracy and efficiency of Nuvocargo's incident reporting for our shippers, we have updated and reclassified incident events within NuvoOS. This enhancement ensures a more precise categorization, making our data more reliable. With this improved incident data, our team can address issues more effectively, anticipate and prevent incidents, and enable better decision making and proactive management for our customers.

Geofences for Automated Shipment Event Logging

Nuvocargo further enhanced its shipment tracking automation capabilities for GPS-enabled shipments. Beyond tracking shipment events every ten minutes with automated check calls, we now leverage geofences that detect coordinates to identify shipment events so they are automatically logged and ingested into NuvoOS, including pick-ups, drop-offs, and border events. By having more precise, on-time data of shipment events, and double validating with human oversight, we can confirm that each event has indeed occurred, ensuring accuracy and reliability in our tracking process.

Ensuring Compliance with Updated Regulations

At NuvoCargo, we prioritize maintaining compliance with evolving regulations, ensuring your logistics operations remain seamless and up-to-date. Starting July 17, 2024, the Mexican Tax Authority (SAT) will mandate the use of version 3.1 of the Bill of Lading Supplement (Complemento Carta Porte, CCP), introducing important changes for Mexico's transportation services and foreign trade operations.  In response, we have updated all relevant fields in our CCP auto-generation tool, which already reduces manual work by 50%, and revamped our existing processes to meet these new requirements, ensuring uninterrupted and compliant operations for your business. We have implemented these changes swiftly due to the tool's flexibility, ensuring compliance with the recent rapid changes in Mexican law.
