What is the Manifest in cross-border?

An Inward Foreign Manifest (IFM), is a document required at customs that contains a detailed list of all cargo entering the country of import. It contains all the relevant information about the shipment and cargo, and it is presented by the carrier to the customs authorities for control of the incoming cargo and assessment of duties.
