Questions about Nuvocargo?
Nuvocargo is building the first AI-native freight execution engine for North American shippers. AI agents and a team of experienced freight operators run your freight on NuvoOS, our own system of record. We are not a software provider: we run the freight ourselves. You can work with us as your freight broker for the loads you send, or have us run your whole freight operation as managed transportation.
We move FTL and LTL freight across North America: inside the US and cross-border with Mexico and Canada. We started on US–Mexico freight in 2019 and expanded to truckload across North America in 2025.
Leading shippers across North America have run tens of thousands of loads with Nuvocargo. Founded in 2019, Nuvocargo is backed by $75M+ from global investors, including Tiger Global, QED, NFX, Hi Ventures, Y Combinator and the founders of Nubank, Ramp and Deel.
Nuvocargo has been named to Y Combinator’s Top Companies list and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies (#1 in Logistics, #30 globally).
Open positions are listed by area on our careers page. If you don’t see your role, send your resume to People Ops at peopleops@nuvocargo.com.
Working with us
Questions before your first load?
Both: the same AI agents that run our own operation do the daily work on your loads. Experienced freight operators oversee them with clear rules, step in when an agent should not decide and answer for the result. Every action on every shipment is logged, human or AI, so you always know who did what.
No, your systems and carriers stay, and so does the investment you made in them. You keep sending tenders the way you do today, by email, EDI or API. We work with the tools you already use and run your existing carriers. There is no implementation project and nothing new for your team to learn, so your first pilot is running within a few weeks. Over time, many shippers simplify their tech stack on their own schedule.
The rate is one part of what you spend on freight, and we work on all of it. Our AI agents negotiate every FTL and LTL load against the live market, then keep your appointments, check accessorials and audit every invoice, so you avoid paying for detention, extra charges or billing errors. Shippers who run their full operation with us as managed transportation typically spend 7–20% less on freight in year one.
For brokerage, send us the loads you want covered and we arrange each one. For managed transportation, you pick a few lanes to try it on, and within about two weeks you can see where those lanes improved. There is no new software, no implementation project and very little of your team’s time involved, and you add lanes only when you are ready. Whichever you choose, the same technology runs your freight and keeps improving it.
Brokerage
Questions about shipping with us?
We arrange dry van and reefer truckload, LTL and intermodal shipments within the US and cross-border with Mexico and Canada. We also move flatbed, drayage, partial truckload and expedited loads. Tell us your equipment, route and shipment requirements so we can quote your load.
With brokerage, you choose the loads you send us; we find a vetted carrier and manage those shipments through delivery. With managed transportation, we work with your team to plan, run and improve an agreed freight operation. Sending recurring loads through brokerage does not make it managed transportation.
Yes, you choose which shipments to send us, whether they are individual loads or recurring freight. We confirm the requirements and quote for each load we handle. Your team keeps managing the rest of your operation.
Carrier vetting and compliance checks are part of arranging your shipment. Our team coordinates with the carrier, follows your shipment’s progress and helps manage issues. We can explain the checks and requirements relevant to your freight.
We confirm the quote and shipment requirements before the move. Changes to the shipment or additional services can affect the final cost. We explain the terms that apply and go through any questions about charges with you.
Yes, our in-house customs team can discuss the support your shipment needs. Customs is a separate service, and we confirm its scope and pricing with you.
Tell us about your company and the freight you need moved. We will confirm the shipment requirements, quote and setup needed before we arrange a load.
Managed transportation
Questions about running your freight together?
Brokerage arranges and coordinates shipments. Managed transportation adds an ongoing operating relationship across the agreed freight scope, including carrier management, procurement, execution, audit and reporting.
You set the business priorities and make the decisions we agree need your approval. We define operational contacts, access, tender handling and escalation points together so both teams know who owns each step.
We can start with your existing carriers and routing guide. Tenders can come through email, EDI or API. We confirm the systems, connections and responsibilities needed for your operation before we begin.
Pricing depends on the agreed scope. We explain the fee, responsibilities and what is included before you start.
No, the opportunity depends on your current rates, carrier mix, service requirements and operating scope. We agree on how to measure cost and service against your starting point.
There is no implementation project because we start on a few of your lanes with your current carriers and routing guide. We agree on the first lanes and the start date on the first call.
We will discuss your freight, current operating setup and the problems you want to solve. Your lanes, approximate volume and priorities help us determine whether managed transportation fits and what to review next.
